Today I choose to think about the things that I have in my life that are good, and true, and holy. The things that are uplifting to my spirit. The moments that bring me joy and not sorrow.
Today I'm thankful for the opportunities I have had to learn and grow and change, however excruciatingly painful the process has been.
I'm thankful for the wonderful people that I have in my life who understand me and love me for me: Ryan, Austin, Elijah, Mom, Dad, Tammy, Tony, Rita, Sarah, Andrea, Jodi, Rob, Erin, Katie, Karli, Amber, Annalee, Britt, and Alison. Thank you for laughing with me, crying with me, grieving with me, and praying with me. Your love and support are invaluable.
Lastly, I thank God for everything I have. I thank Him for the beauty and hope that I have in my life. And I thank Him for my trials and tragedies. Though I may not understand it all in this life, I am thankful that they bring me closer to Him.
