- Losing someone you love never gets any easier
- That stressing out so much over (some of) the little things doesn't do me any good
- It's ok to say "No" to things when you are already over-scheduled
- Not to assume things about people or situations
- That eating healthy goes hand in hand with exercising (this is a recurring revelation)

Five things I loved about 2008;
- Having my family here in August

- That our family (Ryan, Austin, Elijah and I) no longer feels like a blended family
- Paying down some debt
- Friendships growing stronger
- A new appreciation for my husband and all he does for us
- The death of my Grandpa-I miss him so!
- Procrastination on my part (this is vague, I know)
- That we are still living in this house
- The freaking economy and just how greedy some people can be
- Debt
- Worked out more
- Organized this house better
- Planned meals ahead of time
- Ok, that is all
- For this one
- That I don't lose someone I love. I have been saying this for the last 6 years, and I pray that it will finally come true this year...I'm tired of being in various stages of grief
- Oh, I don't know-that we sell this house
- Find a church that I love
- World peace-improbable, I know-we live in a fallen world
- Go on a vacation with Ryan and the kids
